Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026. GemFlare is operated by Techies365 LLC ("we", "us"), and these terms are an agreement between you and Techies365 LLC. Using GemFlare means you agree to them. They're written to be read, not to hide things.

What GemFlare is

GemFlare is a 1:1 voice and video calling service that runs in your web browser, provided by Techies365 LLC as one of its own products — not on behalf of any other business. It is currently in beta: features may change, and occasional interruptions can happen.

Your account

• Your account is your phone number, verified through WhatsApp. You're responsible for keeping control of that number.
• One person per account. Don't impersonate others.
• You can delete your account and call history at any time by messaging the WhatsApp number you verified with (see Support).

Free service and paid plans

• GemFlare is free while in beta. If paid plans launch, current prices and allowances will always be shown on the Pricing page before you pay anything.
• No surprise charges: when a usage allowance runs out, calls continue at reduced quality or as voice-only — we never bill you for overage you didn't explicitly buy.
• Subscriptions, if you buy one, are handled by Stripe and can be cancelled any time from the app; you keep the plan until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Don't use GemFlare to harass, threaten, or defraud anyone, to break the law, or to disrupt the service itself (probing, scraping, resource abuse). We may suspend or disable accounts that do — including, in serious cases, without warning.

The service is provided "as is"

GemFlare is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed calls, dropped calls, or losses arising from use of the service, to the maximum extent the law allows. We don't record calls, so we cannot recover their content.

Changes

These terms may change as the service evolves; material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date above.
